Methodology
Zero-Defect has its own methodology, which specifies processes, tasks and standardization to be followed by every project. This methodology, called Framework 3.0 de Processos Zero-Defect, employs conceptual tools that aim at several different applications.
The methodology created for a project (or evolving maintenance) may unite several different approaches: incremental, cascade, spiral or overlaped sprints. For a greater versatility regarding process interactivity, the steps of Framework 3.0 de Processos Zero-Defect use the “overlaped sprints” approach.
Relations and dependence among activities and processes are defined according to the operational model described below. After the needs and characteristics of the Project (or evolving maintenance) are evaluated, the methodology created by the Framework defines the sequence of activities, the process model, relations and dependences.
Based on pre-defined filters, a list of tasks is defined for the elaboration of a specific methodology for a project (or evolving maintenance). Inside every task, activities are defined, respecting their applicability to the characteristics of the project (or evolving maintenance).
Operation Model
The operation model of Zero-Defect – or Zero-Defect Operations Model – defines 6 (six) activities that must be carried out inside each task of the Framework 3.0 de Processos Zero-Defect. The activities that comprise the operational model are presented below.
