Performance Test
Analyzes time spent in actions and interactions in a system. In the user's view, a performance test measures response time in a system in relation to the proposed interactions. The test below can be carried out with the performance test.
Load Test
Simulates the excessive amount of users simultaneously or randomly interacting with one or more systems.
Stress Test
Similarly to the Load Test, it simulates an excessive amount of users interacting simultaneously or randomly with one or more systems. Simulation can be carried out at night, during the weekends or for long periods, with dedicated machines running in isolated networks until they reach a closing test criteria. The difference in relation to the load test is the amount of interactions carried out in a system. The stress test can be carried out with one single user interacting several times.
Scalability Test
Analyzes the amount of load and/or stress the system needs to start losing performance.
Common services that apply this test: System Convergence Validation, Web Systems Validation, Validation of Systems in Evolving Maintenance, Validation of System Performance, Test Automation.
